John F. Simon, Jr
John F. Simon Jr. (American, b. 1963) John F. Simon Jr. is known for his artworks created through the use of digital software, producing time-based works that never repeats the same image twice, focusing on fluidity and color and shape variation. Simon begins each day creating hand drawings guided by unconscious thought and emotion, often developing these conceptions into code and displaying them on LCD screens. Simon’s work is included in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Guggenheim Museum in New York; the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Los Angeles County Museum of Modern Art in California among others.
